      <description>Location: Hackney | Salary: &amp;pound;93 - &amp;pound;110/day | Type: Contract | ocation:  Hackney, East London  Contract:  Full-Time, Long-Term  Start Date:  September 2026  We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic  SEN Teaching Assistant  to join a welcoming and supportive  all-through SEN school in Hackney  from September.  The school caters for pupils with  Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)  and  Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)  and provides a nurturing environment where students are supported to achieve their full potential.   The Role    Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including MLD and SLD.  Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning and support.  Assisting with personal care where required.  Promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils develop independence and social skills.  Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.    Requirements    Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.  A patient, caring, and proactive approach.  Strong communication and teamwork skills.  A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
