Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:Individualized Support: Work one-on-one with students or small groups to provide targeted academic and emotional assistance.Classroom Assistance: Assist the teacher in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.Intervention Strategies: Implement specific strategies to meet the needs of children with special educational needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and learning delays.Behavioural Support: Help students develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills in collaboration with the school team.Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress and behaviour, and provide feedback to teachers and SENCOs.Encouragement: Build positive relationships and encourage confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
