This is an opportunity for someone who understands that progress is not always measured in grades; rather sometimes it is a pupil feeling confident enough to try something new.As an SEN TA, you will provide practical and emotional support to pupils with additional needs. You ll help them access learning, develop their independence and feel included in everyday school life.Your responsibilities as an SEN teaching assistant: Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with the Special Education Need.Helping pupils understand and complete classroom activities.Encouraging positive communication, social interaction and independence.Supporting pupils who may experience emotional, behavioural or learning difficulties.Following individual support strategies and guidance provided by teaching staff.Helping create a safe and inclusive environment where pupils feel valued.Sharing relevant observations and updates with teachers and other support staff.
