SEND Learning Support AssistantLocation: PENZANCEType of school: SEND KS2-4FULL TIME ROLE: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pmSEPTEMBER STARTWe are in urgent need of a FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS to join a SEN school in PENZANCE This role is full time and it is DESIRABLE to have a UK driving license and own car. But is not essential.Due to the nature of these children at the school it is ideal for applicants to have previous experience in UK SEN schools/ alternative provisions/ transferable skills working with behavioural needs.Responsibilities: Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, offering personalised guidance and support.Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes. Requirements: Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions Applicants holding a valid driver''s license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised.
