Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Daily SupplyLocation: Leicester, LE3Salary: £90 - £100 per dayContract Type: TemporaryAbout the Role:GSL SEN Education are seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistant who is wanting to gain experience working with SEN children. We are working with a local mainstream primary school in the LE3 area, who need staff on a weekly basis to cover any sicknesses/absences that may occur.This role is on a day-to-day basis (Monday Friday), due to the nature of the role you may receive a call on the day of work between 7am 7:30am.Key Responsibilities of a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant: Build trusting relationships with students using a restorative approach.Support students with complex mental health and emotional needs.Help demonstrate the value of education to students.Assist in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure each student receives the necessary care and guidance.Working 1:1 with students offering extra support Key Requirements of a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant: Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivalentA sincere passion for working with children who have special educational needs.The ability to build strong, comfort-based relationships with students.A genuine interest in understanding the challenges faced by young people with mental health and trauma issues.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Resilience and adaptability to deal with a variety of ..... full job details .....
