Pay: -95 - -110 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
A specialist SEN school in Emsworth is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social development
• Help manage behaviour positively and consistently
• Contribute to the creation of a safe and engaging classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

Requirements

• Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and resilience
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
