Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: DerbyPay Rate: 95 - 110 per day (dependent on experience)Company: Aspire PeopleAbout the Role:Aspire People are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Derby. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficultiesSupport students with their academic, social, and emotional developmentWork closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs)Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive, safe learning environmentAssist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials as neededRequirements:Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)A patient, caring, and resilient approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to adapt to different school settings and pupil needsAn enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Aspire People)What Aspire People Offer:Competitive daily pay of 95 - 110, depending on experienceOngoing support from a dedicated consultantOpportunities to work in a variety of supportive schools across DerbyAccess to training and professional development ..... full job details .....
