Tradewind are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated and welcoming SEN school in Cambridge that supports students aged 5 to 19 with a range of complex needs.

This is a rewarding, full-time role working across various age groups, supporting students with learning difficulties, autism (ASC), communication needs, and social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH). As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you''ll play a key role in helping students access learning and reach their full potential.

Your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of SEN
• Assisting in the development of individual learning plans (EHCPs)
• Supporting students with communication, sensory and behavioural needs
• Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and the wider SEN team

Who we''re looking for:

• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a role supporting young people with additional needs
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Confidence in working with children and young people aged 5-19
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
