Welcoming schools in South Liverpool are looking for experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team from September. The schools we are working with are keen to find educators who can make a real difference in the lives of their pupils.
This is an excellent opportunity if you have experience in SEN, especially from youth work, residential care, or similar settings. You''ll play a key role in helping students feel supported, understood, and empowered to succeed.
Your role will include:
- Supporting students with a range of special educational needs in and out of the classroom
- Building strong, positive relationships to support learning and wellbeing
- Helping students regulate behaviour and develop social skills
- Working closely with teachers to deliver tailored interventions and support EHCP targets
We''re looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting young people with autism or other additional needs
- Brings confidence, patience, and a proactive attitude to the role
- Can stay calm under pressure and works well as part of a team
- Is committed to helping all students access the curriculum and thrive
