SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £13.69 per hour

We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for young students with SEN. This is a long-term temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment for the right candidate. The successful applicant will demonstrate empathy, flexibility, and quick thinking to meet individual student needs effectively.

• To provide individualized support for students with SEN to enable them to learn effectively.
• Assist teachers with classroom preparation and management
• Listen attentively and respond to the individual needs of students
• Apply resilience and adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles
• Bring prior experience in a similar role, which is essential
