Location: Coventry, CV4 (Tile Hill)
Weekly Rate: -460 - -500
Contract: Long-term to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Term Time Only)

Do you have a passion for supporting young learners with special educational needs?
We are looking for a caring, flexible, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Tile Hill area of Coventry (CV4). This full-time role involves supporting children across Reception and Key Stage One, with a focus on pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD and SLCN
- Adapt communication methods to suit individual needs
- Assist with early learning activities and classroom routines
- Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised support plans
- Help create a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
What We''re Looking For
- Previous experience supporting children in a school setting
- Confident working with children with ASD and SLCN
- Strong understanding of EYFS and Key Stage 1 approaches
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) or related degree
- Patient, resilient, and consistent approach to supporting SEN pupils
- A team player with excellent communication skills
