SEN Teaching Assistant

About the role:

A Special needs School in Sutton have an opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant or LSA to join them on a contract basis.

This is a speclalist role and requires someone with a strong backround supporting children (any ages) who have additional needs.

Responsibilities:

• In this role you would be required to support students'' learning, social, emotional and physical development
• Working closely with Children on Education Healthcare Plans
• Work closely under the guidance of the SENCO and class teacher
• Manage behaviour whilst encouraging promoting positive learning methods

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a school setting
• A patient, positive outlook on supporting Special Educational Needs
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process one
• Two profesional referee contacts
