This inclusive Enfield secondary school is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a small number of students who require help with focus, routine, and emotional regulation in a mainstream classroom.
About the role:
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to support students with ADHD and SEMH
- Helping to implement classroom behaviour strategies and emotional regulation tools
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students who need consistency and patience
- Collaborating with pastoral and SEN staff to monitor student progress and wellbeing
- Supporting students across core subjects, especially in managing distractions
About you:
- Experience supporting ADHD, behaviour needs or SEMH in schools or youth settings
- Calm, confident, and consistent in your approach
- Strong communication skills and able to build positive working relationships
- Comfortable working with external professionals and families
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
