SEN Teaching Assistant

Ashford

£440 - £550 per week

Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Ashford. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one -to one and small group to pupils with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD and Speech and Language needs.
  • Assist the Class Teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and safe environment
  • Support pupils’ emotional regulation and promote independence
  • Work closely with Teachers, SENCO and parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for children.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have experience working with children with SEN, ideally within a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Be committed to supporting the academic and personal development of every child.
  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Possess the right to work in the UK.
