SEN Teaching Assistant - Lambeth

Salary: -95 - -110 depending on experience
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (near Clapham South station) is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs.
About the Role
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:
Work closely with a pupil with special educational needs, ensuring their learning and social development are supported in line with their EHCP.
Assist the class teacher in adapting resources and strategies to make learning accessible.
Encourage independence while promoting positive behaviour and engagement.
Provide one-to-one and small group interventions when required.
Collaborate with the SENCo, class teachers, and external professionals to deliver high-quality support.
The School is Looking For
Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
Knowledge of supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.
