About the Role:
As an SEN TA, you will work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to provide personalised learning support to students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and speech and language difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for SEN students.
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies.
- Monitor and record student progress for SEN reviews.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous SEN experience within a school or youth setting (desirable).
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting learning.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
