SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted - September 2025 Start | Full-Time | Primary Schools in Camden | Tradewind Education

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have at least 6 months of experience working in a UK primary school setting? Tradewind Education is currently recruiting for dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our partner primary schools across Camden for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Role Details:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

• Start Date: September 2025

• Location: Camden, London

• Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, Term Time Only)

• School Type: Primary Schools (EYFS - KS2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs)

• Assist class teachers with planning and delivering differentiated learning

• Promote pupil engagement, social development, and independence

• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records

• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and outside agencies

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months'' experience supporting SEN pupils in a UK primary school

• Good understanding of the primary curriculum and SEN strategies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive, proactive, and patient approach

• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
