About the Role:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Newham, East London
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to deliver personalised learning support.
Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and academic interventions.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities in education.
