SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of a fantastic primary school in Tower Hamlets, seeking a nurturing and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision from September 2025.

About the Setting:

• Specialist SEN unit attached to a mainstream school
• Supports 8 pupils with autism, communication needs, and developmental delays
• Run by an experienced class teacher and supported by two dedicated TAs
• Calm, structured environment focused on individualised learning
• Excellent school leadership and a strong commitment to inclusion

Your Role Will Include:

• Full-time support, Monday to Friday, term-time only
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff to deliver personalised learning
• Using PECS, Makaton, and visual aids to support communication
• Leading sensory play and structured routines for pre-verbal pupils
• Tracking progress towards EHCP goals and working closely with families and external professionals

We''re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has previous experience supporting children with complex SEND
• Is confident using AAC methods like PECS and Makaton
• Understands the needs of pre-verbal learners
• Is calm, patient, and resilient with a positive attitude
• Values teamwork and is committed to holistic, inclusive education
