The School

This specialist setting is part of a Multi Academy Trust, proudly supporting over 160 young people aged 11-16. The school provides a safe and nurturing environment for pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties and complex needs, including autism, SEMH, and communication or sensory processing challenges. Every pupil has an EHCP, which is central to the school''s personalised, supportive curriculum, delivered through carefully tailored pathways.

The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you''ll work as part of a dedicated team supporting pupils both 1:1 and in small groups. You''ll help young people access learning, develop independence, and build confidence, while promoting a calm, structured, and safe environment. This is a long-term, full-time role with excellent prospects for professional growth and the potential to move into a permanent position.

Who We''re Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in education, childcare, or health & social care.
• Experience in a special school, SEN unit, or SEND role.
• Confidence supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, and communication needs.
• A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach with strong teamwork skills.
• A genuine commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
