SEN Teaching Assistant

The school is looking for an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right individual. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting students with a range of additional needs across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. This role is vital in ensuring every student can access learning, build independence, and reach their full potential.

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who:

• Has proven experience supporting students with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties

• Can build strong relationships with students, encouraging engagement, confidence, and resilience

• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent behaviour management strategies

• Is flexible and able to adapt to the needs of different students and lessons

• Works collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo, and wider support staff to ensure consistent support
