Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: North West London
Start Date: October 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: -90 - -115 per day (PAYE, DOE)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) within a mainstream primary school from October 2025.

The SRP supports pupils with a range of cognitive learning needs, offering tailored interventions and small group learning within a structured and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate, proactive practitioners to help pupils achieve their potential both academically and socially.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with cognitive learning needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

• Assisting with differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans

• Encouraging confidence, independence and social interaction

• Working closely with class teachers, SENCO and wider staff to deliver targeted interventions

• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We''re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with SEND (school, SRP or similar setting)

• A patient, enthusiastic and proactive approach

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Understanding of learning difficulties, autism and/or speech and language needs

• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
