SEN Teaching Assistant - ASD & SEMH Support (Primary & Secondary)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Rugby. This role involves working with both primary and secondary aged pupils, helping them to thrive in a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with ASD and SEMH needs
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive emotional wellbeing
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists and other professionals
Support students both academically and socially, building strong, trusting relationships
We''re Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children with ASD and/or SEMH needs
Is calm, patient and resilient, with a nurturing approach
Has strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
Is flexible, proactive and committed to inclusive education
(Desirable) Holds a relevant TA qualification or training in SEND
