The school has been consistently praised for its positive learning environment and dedicated specialist provision for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within education, as the school is fully committed to training and professional development, with clear pathways into roles such as Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or even Teacher Training for those interested in progressing further.
About the School:
- Inclusive & Supportive: With a large proportion of students on EHCPs, the school prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where every learner feels valued.
- Specialist Provision: A purpose-built unit caters specifically for students with complex learning needs, ensuring tailored support in a calm and structured setting.
- Excellent Staff Culture: Staff well-being and professional growth are priorities, with regular CPD sessions and opportunities to collaborate across departments.
- Positive Ofsted Feedback: Recognised for strong leadership and a student-centred approach that celebrates achievement at every level.

- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with EHCPs, helping them access the curriculum and develop life skills.
- Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and specialist staff to implement personalised support plans.

- Use your transferable skills, whether from childcare, youth work, or a care setting to build positive relationships with students and inspire confidence.

- Experience supporting young people with additional needs is highly desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate with relevant skills.
