Sen Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Enfield. This is a full-time, term-time only role, ideal for someone who is confident working with students who have a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to complex learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and group support to students with special educational needs-

Support pupils with academic, emotional and social development

Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

Help implement EHCP-targets and behaviour strategies

Foster a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Previous experience working in an SEN setting or mainstream school with SEN students

Understanding of a range of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties

Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A proactive and flexible attitude
