SEN Teaching assistant

Academics is currently partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Fulham, seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
In this role, you''ll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Your support will play a vital role in promoting inclusive learning, encouraging independence, and fostering positive behaviour.
Role Details:
Location: Primary School, Fulham
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: -95110 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored one-to-one support for a nursery child with SEN, such as Autism and ADHD
Encourage positive behaviour and inclusive learning strategies
Contribute to creating a supportive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to track and support pupil progress
What We''re Looking For:
Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting
A committed SEN Teaching Assistant who is eager to make a real difference
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach
