Sen Teaching Assistant ( Complex Needs )

Temp to Permanent opportunity. Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs? We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with complex needs in a dynamic and supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with complex learning, physical, and emotional needs. Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and care plans tailored to each student. Use a range of strategies and resources, including visual aids, sensory tools, and communication aids, to support learning. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, therapists, and parents to provide holistic support for students. Support personal care tasks, promoting independence where possible. Manage challenging behaviours using appropriate strategies and de-escalation techniques. Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and SEN staff. Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures at all times. What We re Looking For: Right to work in the UK (essential). Relevant experience working with children or young people with complex needs, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or physical disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
