Prospero Teaching is proud to be working with a Good Ofsted-rated SEN School located in the Wimborne area. We are currently seeking Bank Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team and provide flexible support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism and Complex Needs.

This specialist school caters for pupils aged 419 years, offering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. With small class sizes, tailored learning plans, and access to specialist facilities, the school combines academic learning with therapeutic and social development.
Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils receive the best care and education possible, promoting independence, life skills, and confidence through a holistic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and care support for pupils with Autism and Complex Needs
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans
• Support pupils in classroom and enrichment activities
• Uphold school policies and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Contribute to creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP13.10 per hour
• Hours - 8:30 - 15.30

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• GCSEs or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year working with children
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
