SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism Provision (Year 4/5) Location: Tulse Hill, Lambeth Start Date: ASAP We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Autism Provision supporting pupils in Year 4/5. This position would be ideal for an aspiring teacher looking to gain valuable experience supporting pupils within both a specialist provision and mainstream classroom environment. The RoleSupport two pupils with autism within a specialist provision.Assist pupils with learning, communication, and social development.Support pupils within the provision during the morning.Accompany pupils into mainstream classrooms during the afternoon, ensuring they can fully access learning.Encourage independence, engagement, and positive behaviour.Work collaboratively with teachers and the SEND team to meet individual pupil needs.RequirementsExperience working with children with autism and high-needs SEN.Strong understanding of inclusion and supporting pupils in mainstream settings.Confident, proactive, and adaptable approach.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching is highly desirable.Ideal Candidate We are seeking a motivated individual with strong SEN experience who is keen to develop their career within education.
