SEN Teaching Assistant Cheshire East Part-time / Full-time Pay: £90 £100 per day (DOE) Paid weekly Overview: Astro Education is seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support schools in Cheshire East (Sandbach, Crewe, Holmes Chapel, Nantwich, Alsager, Haslington, Congleton and Macclesfield). The role involves working one-on-one with students who have SEN (Special Educational Needs), providing tailored support both within and outside of the standard curriculum to meet each student s individual needs, as outlined in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with SEN, particularly those with Autism. You will collaborate closely with the class teacher to support the student but will also be expected to work independently, building a strong and supportive relationship with them.
