A welcoming primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to pupils with autism and other additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and enjoy school life. The role will involve:Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND. Supporting children with autism to engage positively with learning and classroom activities. Helping pupils develop communication, social and independence skills. Providing a calm, structured and supportive environment. Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs. Supporting pupils with their emotional regulation and wellbeing. Working closely with teachers, the SENDCo and other members of the school team. Encouraging every child to achieve their individual potential.
