SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Leicester)

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Start Date: After May Half Term
Contract: Full-Time (5 days per week)
Salary: -100105 per day (dependent on experience)

Aspire People is excited to be working alongside a vibrant primary school in Leicester, seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work 1:1 with a child who has Special Educational Needs, providing invaluable support to help them thrive academically and socially.

Your Role:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with SEN, assisting with their learning and personal development
Work alongside the class teacher to deliver tailored support and ensure the child''s needs are met
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Support with behaviour management, as well as social and emotional development
Collaborate with parents, staff, and external professionals to ensure the child receives the best care and education

What We''re Looking For:

Previous experience working in a UK primary school (essential)
Experience supporting children with SEN (ideal, but not essential)
A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to working with children
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
A genuine passion for making a difference in children''s lives
