The role will initially run until Christmas, with a strong possibility of being extended through to the end of the academic year.We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and can confidently provide both academic and pastoral support within the classroom and wider school environment.The ideal candidate will have:Previous experience working with children or young people with SENExperience supporting pupils with a range of additional needsA genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learningA UK degree, ideally in Psychology, Educational Psychology or a related subjectThe ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staffStrong communication and behaviour-management skillsAvailability to work 5 days per weekThe ability to start ASAPA DBS on the Update ServiceReferences covering the last 2 yearsThe role:Supporting pupils with SEN across a mainstream secondary schoolProviding 1:1 and small-group support where requiredHelping pupils access ..... full job details .....
