SEN Teaching Assistant - Alternative Provision Barnet

We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Barnet that is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties, helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and engagement in learning. The Alternative Provision: Supports around 12 children within the class Caters for pupils with autism, ADHD and a range of other learning difficulties Has a dedicated specialist SEN Teacher Includes a team of 3 other experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Offers excellent facilities and resources, including its own sensory room Provides a structured, nurturing and supportive environment with strong routines The ideal candidate will: Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Have experience working with children with SEN, autism, ADHD or other learning difficulties Be patient, proactive and adaptable Be a positive and engaging team player Be confident supporting pupils both individually and within a small group setting Have a nurturing approach and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils What the school offers: A highly supportive and experienced SEN Teacher and wider ..... full job details .....
