You will have the opportunity to work hours which suit your schedule whether this be requiring more part-time hours or something a little more full-time. Your duties will include; supporting a pupil with day-to-day learning, tailoring learning & activities to be taught in a way in which the pupil can access their learning in a way which works for them. Upon placement you will receive support from all of the staff within each school you visit, particularly the SENCO who you will be liaising with on a regular basis. Your focus will be working with a variety of children with varying additional needs, occasional support to the rest of the class may be necessary.
