Academics Canterbury are recruiting a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs at a supportive primary school in Ashford from September.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in inclusive education.

The role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils with additional needs in the classroom
• Work 1:1 and with small intervention groups
• Help implement individual support strategies
• Support behaviour and emotional development
• Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO

Requirements:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN preferred
• A patient and supportive approach
• Strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
