      <description>Location: Cosham | Salary: &amp;pound;92.56 - &amp;pound;95/day | Type: Contract | SEN Teaching Assistant Secondary SEN School - Cosham, Portsmouth   Academics are recruiting on behalf of an ''Outstanding'' Secondary SEN School in the Cosham area of Portsmouth who have a need for experienced SEN Teaching Assistant''s who are available to work on a supply basis, covering daily, short and long term needs. If you are available full-time and looking for a permanent position, they often take SEN Teaching Assistant''s on directly after a minimum working period on a supply contract.  The working hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm, term-time.  The school based in Cosham, Portsmouth caters for approximately 165 pupils aged 11-16 years who have complex learning difficulties. In addition to their learning difficulties, some pupils have other needs associated with autistic spectrum condition, speech, language and communication difficulties and medical conditions. Due to the needs of the pupils, this is ideal for someone with previous SEN experience, or a willingness to work with children with special educational needs.
