You will have the opportunity to work hours which suit your schedule whether this be requiring more part-time hours or something a little more full-time. Your duties will include; supporting a pupil with day-to-day learning, tailoring learning and activities to be taught in a way in which the pupil can access their learning in a way which works for them.Upon placement you will receive support from all of the staff within each school you visit, particularly the SENCO who you will be liaising with on a regular basis. Your focus will be working with a variety of children with varying additional needs, occasional support to the rest of the class may be necessary.
