      <description>Location: Ashford | Salary: &amp;pound;93 - &amp;pound;95/day PAYE, Weekly Pay, CPD, Pension | Type: Permanent | SEN Teaching Assistant - Ashford    Academics are currently recruiting  SEN Teaching Assistant  to work within a selection of our client schools across  Ashford . We work with a range of specialist settings, each supporting pupils with different needs, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to develop their experience within SEN.  Our schools cater for pupils with needs including  ASC, SEMH, ADHD, communication and interaction difficulties and complex learning needs . You will play an important role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and get the most from their education.  Depending on the individual school and pupils you are supporting, your responsibilities could include providing  1:1 assistance, supporting small groups and working alongside the class teacher within the classroom . You will be part of a wider team focused on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for every pupil.  We are particularly interested in candidates who are  empathetic, patient and adaptable , with the confidence to respond to different situations and build positive relationships with young people.
