You do need to have extensive experience in this area as full training will be provided, however will you need to be able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for working with children with Special Educational Needs. Some experience working personally or professionally with children with SEN will be advantageous.This SEN Teaching Assistant role will see you working with a range of children of children across Key Stage 1 and 2. You will be tasked to deliver small group interventions to children with a range of needs. You will need to be able to think on your feet, adapt quickly to working in different age children and have brilliant communication skills both written and oral.
