Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism and Behaviour Support) Location: Chester Salary: 100 - 120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications) Contract: Long-Term Start Date: ASAPAre you a patient, compassionate, and resilient individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Chester is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with Autism and moderate behavioural needs. This is a full-time role, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child receives consistent, high-quality support tailored to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 in-class and out-of-class support to a pupil with autism and moderate behaviour challenges.Implement behaviour support strategies in line with the pupil''s EHCP and individual behaviour plan.Assist with the development of social, emotional, and communication skills.Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.Liaise regularly with the SENCO, class teacher, and parents/carers to monitor progress and adjust support strategies.
