Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for new opportunities in Birmingham?Winner Education are seeking a SEN Primary Teacher for a Special Needs school based in South Birmingham. This role will start from September on a long-term placement and will be full time. The successful applicant will carry out class teacher responsibilities, maintain general classroom support as well as 1:1 intervention support for SEN children. You will preferably hold QTS Status. Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct class teacher responsibilitiesSupport primary aged pupilsLead lesson planning and preparation based on individual learner requirementsLead and work alongside TA s supporting group of learnersProvide personal care if and when requiredProvide regular learner assessments and progress reportsUphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfareCreate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment The successful SEN Teacher will have: QTS statusPrevious PMLD experiencePrevious experience working primary aged SEN childrenGood knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum, in particular the primary levelStrong resilience and patiencePrevious experience working with children with Autism and challenging behavioursPrevious experience in lesson planning Why Winner Education?
