      <description>Location: Colchester | Salary: &amp;pound;150 - &amp;pound;250/annum | Type: Permanent | Transition Teacher (Post-16 SEN) Location: Colchester, Essex Salary: M1 - M6 + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time, term time only (39 weeks plus training days) Start Date: September 2026    About the Role  We are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Transition Teacher to support learners aged 16+ within a specialist SEN setting. This role is ideal for a teacher with Key Stage 3 and above experience who is passionate about preparing young people with autism and additional needs for adulthood.  You will work within a structured and supportive environment, helping students develop independence, life skills, employability awareness, and confidence as they transition into further education, training, or employment.
