Location: Hillingdon, West LondonPay: 150- 250 per day, depending on experienceContract: Daily/Weekly SupplyStart Date: ASAPTradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced SEN Teacher to support a specialist school in Hillingdon, working with a mixed lower Key Stage 2 class.The school is looking for a teacher who can provide high-quality teaching and support within a new class of approximately 15 pupils, working alongside a small team of LSAs.This role is initially offered on a daily/weekly supply basis, allowing the school and successful candidate to establish a working relationship before considering any longer-term arrangement.The RoleAs an SEN Teacher, you will:Teach a mixed lower KS2 class of approximately 15 pupils.Plan and deliver engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons.Adapt teaching and learning to meet a range of SEN needs.Work closely with the LSAs supporting the class.Establish positive and consistent relationships with pupils.Promote positive behaviour, engagement and participation in learning.Maintain a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment.Work collaboratively with the wider school team.The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for an experienced teacher who has:QTS or recognised teaching qualification.Previous experience teaching pupils with special educational needs.Experience working within a primary or specialist setting.A good understanding of differentiation and personalised learning.Strong classroom and ..... full job details .....
