As demand continues to grow in one of our partner schools, we are looking to expand our pool of dedicated SEN Teachers available for temporary, full-time supply work.The Role We are seeking an experienced and adaptable SEN Teacher to join warm, well-structured specialist settings across North Somerset that supports pupils aged 4-19 with a range of additional needs. This position is offered on a temporary, supply basis. It is not a permanent contract, however,You will:Deliver lessons across KS1-KS4 (and occasionally Post-16), depending on experienceTeach small groups of pupils with mild to moderate learning difficulties, ASC, communication needs and SEMH presentationsAdapt planning and resources to meet varying learning levelsWork closely with LSAs, therapists and pastoral staffUse trauma-informed, nurturing behaviour management strategiesContribute to a calm, consistent and structured learning environmentBuild strong, trusting relationships with pupils who often benefit from routine, patience and clear expectationsWhat to Expect from the PupilsLearners may present with:Autism spectrum conditionsModerate Learning Difficulties (MLD)Speech, Language and Communication NeedsLow self-esteem, anxiety ..... full job details .....
