Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).Create a supportive, nurturing and structured learning environment for children with a range of SEN.Use a variety of SEND-appropriate teaching strategies, resources and communication methods (e.g., visual supports, sensory tools).Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records to inform planning and reporting.Work closely with teaching assistants to ensure consistent, high-quality support and personalised learning.Implement behaviour-support strategies that promote emotional regulation, communication and independence.Promote social skills, communication and functional life skills through structured activities and play-based learning.Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that meets the sensory and emotional needs of young children.
