SEN Teacher

Are you a passionate and resilient teacher looking to make a real difference? We are seeking a dedicated PRU Teacher to join a supportive Pupil Referral Unit in Redbridge.

This is a unique opportunity to work with students who require a more tailored and nurturing approach to education. You will deliver a broad, engaging curriculum across a range of non-core subjects, helping pupils re-engage with learning and build confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative and flexible lessons across multiple subjects (e.g. PSHE, life skills, vocational topics, arts, and enrichment)
• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Build strong, positive relationships to encourage engagement and progress
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external agencies
• Manage behaviour effectively using a trauma-informed approach

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with challenging behaviour or in alternative provision (desirable)
• Strong classroom management and adaptability
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
