The successful teacher will play an important role in supporting pupils'' academic progress alongside their communication, social, emotional and personal development.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils within the specialist ASD provisionCreate a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learnAdapt teaching approaches, resources and activities to meet the needs of children with ASDSupport pupils to develop their communication, social interaction, independence and emotional regulationWork closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff to provide consistent and effective supportSet and work towards individual pupil targets, ..... full job details .....
