SEN Teacher Contract Type: Long term to permanent, 8:30 - 3:30 Salary: 150 - 250 per day, dependant on experience and qualifications Location: BexhillAbout the SEN Teacher roleAt academics we are looking for an experienced and committed SEN Teacher for a school in Bexhill to support pupils with Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and a range of other special educational needs.The ideal candidate would be a teacher who can delivers maths, science and English lessons at KS2 level.Key Responsibilities as SEN teacherPlan, deliver and create differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN needs.Provide a structured, consistent, and supportive classroom environment.Assess individual learning needs, track progress, and adjust teaching strategies.Collaborate with other professionals to support holistic development.Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), behaviour support plans, and risk assessments where necessary.Foster strong relationships with pupils, families and carers, offering regular feedback and guidance.Other RequirementsQTS (Qualified Teacher Status)Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN needs.Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and behaviour support strategies.Right to work in the UKEnhanced DBS, or willingness to apply for one.Why Work with Academics?Competitive daily rates (inclusive of holiday pay)Flexible work that fits your availabilityOpportunity to secure long-term ..... full job details .....
