TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of SEND schools and alternative provisions across Newcastle. These settings support pupils from EYFS through to Key Stage 4, with a strong focus on inclusivity, structure, and helping students with additional needs to achieve their full potential in a supportive environment.

We are looking for a SEND Teacher to work on a day to day basis across multiple schools. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs, delivering tailored lessons and maintaining a consistent and positive classroom environment.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
• Strong classroom management and adaptability across different settings
• A patient and resilient approach to supporting challenging behaviour
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get involved
